Terms of service

1. The service
RuleTally provides browser-based tools that help you inspect and prepare OSHA ITA CSV and XLSX files. The Founding Filing Pass adds a one-time, assisted preflight workflow for up to 25 establishments and support through a first upload attempt.
2. Your responsibility
You remain responsible for the accuracy, completeness, recordability decisions, and final submission of your data. RuleTally is independent software and is not affiliated with or endorsed by OSHA. It does not provide legal advice or guarantee acceptance, filing, or compliance.
3. Privacy and sensitive data
File processing in the RuleTally workspace is designed to stay in your browser. Do not send employee records, incident narratives, or other sensitive filing data through contact forms or ordinary email. Our handling of website and contact data is described in the Privacy Notice.
4. Purchases
The Founding Filing Pass is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and does not renew automatically. Paddle acts as the authorized reseller and merchant of record for purchases made through Paddle Checkout. Paddle collects payment, calculates applicable transaction taxes, and issues the receipt or invoice. Paddle’s buyer terms also apply to that purchase.
5. Refunds
The RuleTally Refund Policy forms part of these terms. Refunds made for a Paddle purchase are processed by Paddle. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
6. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, bypass security controls, use it unlawfully, or infringe another person’s rights. You must have authority to process any data you place in your local workspace.
7. Availability and liability
The service may change or experience interruptions. To the extent permitted by law, RuleTally is provided without implied warranties and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our aggregate liability relating to a paid service will not exceed the amount paid for that service. These limits do not apply where the law does not permit them.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms prospectively and will change the effective date above. Material changes will not reduce rights already attached to a completed purchase. Questions can be sent to support@ruletally.com.
